How to Set Up a Winning Welcome Email Sequence

1. Define Your Goal
Decide what you want to achieve with your welcome sequence. Are you nurturing leads, introducing a product, or driving engagement? Your goal will shape your messaging.
2. Map Out the Sequence
Plan how many emails you’ll send and what each one will cover. A typical sequence includes:
Email 1: Warm welcome & what to expect
Email 2: Share your brand story or key value proposition
Email 3: Provide useful content, tips, or a small win
Email 4: Introduce an offer, product, or next steps
3. Write Engaging Emails
Keep your tone friendly and conversational. Personalize where possible, add a clear call-to-action (CTA), and ensure each email delivers value.
4. Automate the Sequence
Create your email templates in Lead LinQ under
Step 4.1 Marketing > Emails > Templates > New
Step 4.2 Choose from thousands of templates or create your own
Step 4.3 Now go to the Automations tab > Create Workflow > Start from Scratch
Step 4.4 Create a new workflow with any trigger you like - could be a form filled out, membership granted, ad clicked etc.
That's it!
You can add a "Wait" step after the welcome email, wait a few days then send a follow up email with more value, content, promotions or discounts. You can build this out to be a 6+ month email sequence that you build once and it is automatically sent out on your behalf! Turning leads into clients effortlessly.
5. Test & Optimize
